My friend jokingly referred to me as Ecomomma as we discussed alternatives to conventional methods of personal hygiene. Although I definitely have a long road ahead of me, I felt a bit honored to see how far I had come at that point. I created this blog in hopes that along the way, people might see how easy it can be to live intentionally.

knitting challenge: day 1

What was your first finished project?

WELL. i thought it would be an awesome idea to round up a gaggle of gals who wanted to learn how to knit and do it together via a blog. and that failed miserably. BUT i knitted two of the worst looking dish cloths ever. which i still use. they’re ugly, but darn it if cotton yarn is so superior to storebought cloths that i let it slide. anyways- here’s the poor little guys below. cute, huh?

i might do this one too... →

Started by Crafting and Steno:

Day 1: What was your first finished project?

Day 2: What is currently on your needles?

Day 3: Do you have any other WIPs (works in progress)?

Day 4: How did you learn how to knit?

Day 5: How long did it take from the time your…

i hope i can keep it up!!

Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)

  1. lydia
  2. brian
  3. andrea
  4. brian
  5. stephen

that literally took 30 seconds. seriously.. after them, there’s a billion and one more people. but these are the people who i couldn’t be here without, and the people who carry on my legacy in the world. it doesn’t get much more important than that. <3

Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.

  1. color on the walls when i was a kid
  2. neglect my already crappy vehicles so much
  3. lend my mp3 player to a “friend”
  4. tell so many white lies
  5. argue with my great grandma
  6. get caught (what? some memories are really awesome except for the part where i got found out. =P)

also- it’s not 12 yet so this totally counts. :D
